Research Administration

The Department of Emergency Medicine Research Administration team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of administrativeĀ support services to enhance the productivity of our faculty while adhering to the guidelines and policies of our sponsors and Columbia University. Our responsibilities include:

  • Assistance in the identification of research opportunitiesĀ 
  • Pre-award preparation (Rascal creation, budget preparation, InfoEd, etc.)
  • Post-award administration (Account set-up, reconciliations and attestations, progress reports, salary distribution, procurement, effort certification, etc.)
  • Clinical Research support (Study enrollment, regulatory compliance, IRB submission, chart reviews, patient follow-up, etc.
