Virtual Health

Welcome to the Division of Virtual Health Services

Our Mission

To deliver high quality, accessible, and equitable virtual health care.

Message From the Director

Erica L. Olsen, MD

Telehealth is an integral part of our emergency medicine practice today. It greatly enhances our traditional care model and extends our reach to the patients we serve. Our various telehealth programs span a continuum of care:  from pre-hospital virtual urgent care services; to triage and consult programs within our emergency department; to post-discharge virtual follow-up care.  We are aligned with the department’s education mission, offering didactics and training opportunities to residents, medical students, providers, and staff.

As we work to advance the telehealth frontier through continued research and innovation, our focus remains on the patients we serve. We are committed to equal access to telehealth for all members of our patient community and delivery of the highest standards of care.
