Overview

Barbara J. Magid, MD, MPH, MIA is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Attending in Emergency Medicine at the Columbia University Medical Center in the Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University. She received her MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, her MPH and MIA from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), and her BA from Tufts University. Dr. Magid was recently honored with the Outstanding Housestaff Award from Weill Cornell Medical Center Alumni Council. In addition, she is a Resident Instructor for Thoughtful Reading of Evidence into Clinical Settings (T-RECS), Founder and Co-Chair for NYP Emergency Medicine Parents' Group, and Resident Member for ED Administration and Clinical Operations Committee. Dr. Magid has a New York State Medical License.
