I would like to work with a Research Coordinator or Research Intern.

The Research Intern Service is a program that helps to support ongoing research projects at the Columbia Emergency Department (ED). It is a service available to ED faculty and staff. We also welcome outside collaborations, after review by our ED research team. Please click here EM Service Request (approved studies) and complete this questionaire to arrange assistance for your approved study/project. 

Please note that while we do our best to support all RI study requests, due to resource limitations within the program, in general, studies are prioritized by the following order: 

1) FUNDED ED led Principal Investigator (PI) studies 
2) UNFUNDED ED led Principal Investigator Studies studies 
3) FUNDED  non-ED PI studies
4) UNFUNDED non-ED PI studies

I have a question about an active grant(s) such as budget, effort reporting, procurement, etc.

How do I update my CITI Affiliation?

If you have previously completed coursework in CITI at a different institution, you will need to update your affiliation to "Columbia University" under Institutional Courses. Please follow the instructions listed below. 

Instructions:

  1. Log in via CITI under your current Institution.
  2. On the main page, next to "Where Would you like to affiliate with another Institution?", click on "Add Affiliation" . 
  3. On the next page, in the blank box, type in "Columbia University" and click on both small boxes to Agree the terms and Affirm the affiliation. 
  4. Proceed to click "Continue", and the screen will take you back to the main page. 
  5. Next to "Would you like to remove an existing affiliation? ", please click on "Remove Affiliation" to remove your previous institution.

After you have completed the instructions listed above, you should be able to see "Columbia University" under your affiliation.

For all IT issues or questions, please submit the EMD Research IT Ticket Submission Form. This form will be routed to our IT Network Manager for resolve.

I need to order supplies for my study.

Please submit the EMD Research Procurement Form to place an order for supplies for your studies. The form will be routed to our EMD Research Adminstrative Team for review/approval. Once approved, the order(s) will be placed and an email confirmation with tracking number will be sent directly to you.
